Fasting actually improves brain function, you just have to fast long enough it get into a truly fasted state (12hours at least). So stop eating around 7PM and don't eat until you get home from school.
And it's incredibly important to eat good, healthy, whole food. Considering the amount of food we pro-anas can eat, there's just no room for junk, which will only make you sick and malnourished.

I've read that fish oil helps with thinking. You can use flax oil instead if you're veggie/vegan.

At school (currently at university now), I was able to survive on just one meal a day. But that's assuming you don't have depression.
Otherwise I'd recommend bringing in rice cakes with you just in order to focus and perhaps some diet soft drinks.

Eat a breakfast with protein (look into green smoothies), and fruits/veggies throughout the day. I also recommend green tea; it works better than coffee for me. Drink water--tea and coffee are diuretics, so they dehydrate you, and hydration definitely improves brain function.
I'm just hoping that I can trigger myself into an AN/ON phase before school starts.... I've been B/Ping like mad and that is not going to help me study.

Oh and another thing, discovered that peaches/nectarines are the lowest calorie fruit out there. Would recommend as a snack or two for a meal.
