How to break a binge cycle? Empty How to break a binge cycle?

    Post by Summer17 Tue 10 Nov - 15:25

    Hey,

I have OSFED and have been in a binge cycle for the past 3 months. I've gained nearly 10kg (basically all the weight I lost in my restriction cycle). Do you guys have any ideas on how to break the cycle?

I want to lose all of the weight by the end of January + more.

My lowest weight (in July) was 45kg. I am now 54.2kg. I'm only 5'3 so it's not like I was dying or anything~

Some of my current ideas are:

-Eat mostly fruit and vegetables. The body will be getting its nutrients and won't crave so much. Plus being able to eat more for less calories.

-Go on the 2468 diet. (Add 200 onto every day since I'm prone to bingeing).

-Eat 1000-1500kcals a day and fast for 2 days per week. The calories burned during fasting alone should equal 1lb of fat in the 2 days.

Do you have any ideas? Opinions? Feedback would be great! Very Happy

I think your ideas actually sound really good, but some other suggestions might be:
    - Mono-ing (maybe even on your binge foods?)
    - Liquid diet
    - Juicing
    - Upping your intake (800+ really helps)
    - Maybe not counting for a few days... ? I know that can be tricky though
    - Joining a challenge or kik group
    - Maybe eat within a restricted time period? E.g. 7am until 5pm?
